Since 1999 : Assistant Professor at the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie et de Physique de Bordeaux" (E.N.S.C.P.B.)
Research interests :
Stimuli-responsive hydrogels and microgels : new tools for analytical chemistry.
1) New stationary phases for capillary electrochromatography (CEC): application to the separation of macromolecular species and comprehensive study of their separation mechanisms.
2) Molecular-responsive microgels: design of structured microgels and their application to glucose sensors and drug delivery systems.
1997-99 : Post-doctoral position at the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal, Pessac, France. Emulsion group directed by Pr. Jérôme Bibette, in collaboration with Fournier company.
Subject : double emulsions as new vectors for drug delivery : fundamental understanding of their metastability and their interactions with biological cells
1996-97 : Post-doctoral position at the Department of Chemistry, University of Florida, Gainesville. Polymer group directed by Pr. Randy S. Duran, in collaboration with Rhône-Poulenc company.
Subject : Superspreading mechanisms of silicone surfactants in aqueous solution
1996 : Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the University of Bordeaux, France.
Title : From mesogenic compounds to dimesogenic ones : new chiral and frustrated mesophases.
1993 : D.E.A. diploma in Physical Chemistry at the University of Bordeaux, obtained with distinctions.
1990 - 1993 : Engineering School of Physics and Chemistry, Bordeaux, France
